Elderbird Restorations

With over 10 years of experience in antique furniture restoration, we provide an authentic experience unparalleled by our competitors.

Custom Furniture

We create one-of-a-kind, custom fine-art furniture that is expertly crafted from only the highest quality, upcycled salvage materials.

Antique Sales

With more than 20 years of experience in the antique resale community, we have a large network of specialists and retail outlets.

We are not just craftsmen but artists, knowledge seekers, and treasure hunters. The Iconoclast team takes each custom piece and works every detail from the moment a pencil touches paper to the day its delivered to your home or business. We strive to make each piece look as though it belongs in the space it resides, like it was always there. Whether it's a restoration or custom piece built by hand, we focus on what matters most: you. We are proud to be the only outfitter in Mountain Maryland to build 100% custom fine-art furniture out of upcycled materials and salvage. We believe that art can not only invoke an emotional response but can be made out of materials that have already lived a life centuries old. We are the new Green movement in custom furniture.

For our restorations, we specialize in paint removal, water damage, and ornate detail work. We not only pay an incredibly acute attention to detail—we take pride in our intention to detail as well. Everything about restoration, for us, is intentional. We pay homage to the original craftsmen in every aspect of our restoration, right down to the hand-forged nails and meticulous artisanship of every curve. Taking our Green initiative to the next level, we do not use any chemicals or products that can harm our environment. We use 100% earth-friendly materials to remove paint, varnish, and other applications to your restoration projects. A majority of the restoration work we do is done by hand, with tools and techniques used by the artisans who built the piece decades ago.

In recent years, we have moved our entire antique catalog online in order to bring a taste of Mountain Maryland to the world. We ship antiques and architectural salvage everywhere: from California to Scotland, Arkansas to Canada. We also do home and business clean-outs, taking care of all rubbish removal and cleaning. From acquiring the receptacles to selling certain pieces for commission, we take care of your needs. The Iconoclast team also does commission sales for estates and family heirlooms. With low commission rates and high success rates, we help you every step of the way.
